I say 'tsk tsk' to the lady who overpowers herself with cutesie and pinkish stuff.
You are too loud and clashy. Cosplay wear is meant for special events and not everyday wear.
And to the one who is the ultimate Bitch herself, don't ever let me see you on the streets.
Cos you will get a piece of my mind. You will be utterly shamed and condemned.
There was no valid reason why you had made my life a living hell.
I'm cute, i'm acting cute. Yucks. You know recently i saw your Facebook pictures, it made me realise. Not all babies are cute. And yours is one of those. And you call him 'My handsome'.
And to my future classmates, please don't be like the few i had. Too selfish to share and too selfish to help others. They fear that by helping, you will get part of their marks in the exam paper.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. Anatole France

A letter to the 18 yr old me
Hi me,
You should be in Secondary 5 doing your 'O' Levels. Don't worry about the friends that you have lost now, cos you will gain some back and gain new ones too. You will be fretting about the courses you would choose. You will not get into any design or biochemistry courses. Guess what? You will end up being a Nurse. Because it is something difficult but a useful tool throughout your life.
It is because of this Nursing course, you meet 2 good friends. Xiao Fen and Sook Fun.
Who will be there for you during important events in your life.
You can't stop your parents from getting a divorce and therefore you will need to sign a bond with TTSH. Because you need money.
You will begin to realise that you are sick of toying with guys and wanna be serious. Do not be silly! Continue to be the way you are and do not settle for anything less. Do not go get involved with suspicious men in church who do not have good reputation in the first place.
That will prevent alot of debts, heartbreaks and poorness that i have gone through.
You will get sick of your church and move on to CHC. And the most rewarding part of that is, you get to go Banda Acheh where a big tsunami occurs. And you get the most important experience in your life providing medical help to the needy.
And once your graduate and start work in TTSH, pls find ways to get transferred to ward 8C. Because there you will meet many good friends. Uma, Bijuan, Lili, Fairoz, Pei Yan etc.
Its also because Uma will try matchmaking you with the man you must marry. He may not be charming or eloquent, but he is good for you. He will not break your heart. In his little way, he does his best to make you happy. Nevermind that he is not a devout chiristian. Something i know that is very important to you.
He is ok with being a christian for you and will be very committed to it. By the way, you also don't have to worry about CHC being against the relationship, because you will leave CHC.
During this time, pls search in the newspaper for someone called Mrs Ian selling a grey schnauzer. He will be the love of your life. And never leave him out of your sight on the 15th day of chinese new year in 2007. Because someone will be careless and forget to close the gate. He was knocked down by a speeding car.
And lastly, do not worry that the man you are marrying seems uninvolved and boring. He is asking you to give him time to change. You are thinking if giving him time would be good to see a change in him? Yes he will. So be patient.
So practise patience and constraint. You will not get yourself into pitholes.

To give life
9 months may be a short time. But Somehow when you are IN the 9 months, experiencing it, it is not as easy as it seems.
To give life. Of couse this process would not be a walk to the park. Not buying a puppy from the petshop but to give life. Contributing part of yourself to create this new being, that will be apart from your flesh.
Being happy and worried at the same time as you cant see whats going inside of you. At some point, you get that sick feeling in your stomach. Like when you get food poisoning. But then its not, its just the life growing inside of you tummy. Making strange sensations in your stomach.
And like the 9 months is not enough to prove your undying commitment to this process, you don't get a cherry at the end. You get more pain, more strange sensations. That's child birth. And finally this new life that you finally get to meet and bring home.
Its still not the end. You survive sleepless nights with crying baby and tiredness from all the extra work.
But why do people do it?
Everything borne out of sweat and tears is always sweeter and rewarding isnt it? And no matter what you've done in life. This is the one thing that you did right somehow. Because you allowed part of you to be passed on. And with a hope that this little you will do more right than you did in your life. Although the satisfaction won't be guaranteed, its the hope that makes people try.

In the latest twist to the investigation involving City Harvest Church, it’s been revealed that pastor and founder Kong Kee is taking a “well-needed break”.
Explaining Kong Hee’s absence from the church’s usual service on Saturday at both the Singapore Expo Hall and its Jurong West branch, senior church leader Derek Dunn told the congregation, “I just also want to let you know that Pastor Kong is well.”
“He’s just taking the needed rest this weekend, so he can assist with the ongoing investigations, so let’s continue to stay united in this church family,” he added.
The Straits Times reports that several members of the congregation at Expo Hall 1 were seen waving placards of support that read, “We love Ps Kong” and “We love CHC”. Holy Communion and the giving of tithes also carried on as usual. The mood at both services was visibly upbeat.
Why not having placards that reads,"We love Jesus" or "We love God"?
City Harvest members Yahoo! Singapore spoke to, however, are unperturbed by the ongoing investigations.
One of them, who wanted to be known as John, “I think its normal for big organisations to be ‘audited’. We will just have to wait and see what the outcome is from all this.”
Another member from the same church who preferred to remain anonymous thought otherwise.
“I think this is just another case of ‘cry wolf’, out to stir up trouble for Pastor Kong Hee, Sun and City Harvest,” she said.
Whether 'cry wolf' or not, the probe was initiated when City Harvest Church made a $350million investment on Suntec City.
Any lawful country's government would raise some eyebrows and get curious enough to investigate.
No one is out to 'stir up trouble' in the first place. I guess if there was'nt the daring step to make such a huge amount of investment, no one would even bother what you do with your money.
Secondly, guilty or not, your actions has caused an effect on the whole christian community. Is every church going to be like that too? What if i give my church money and they take my money to do investments?
Is it right to say that when you have caused non-christians to stumble and doubt the churches, you are equally guilty? I think you need to reflect and need to be more careful with your actions.
I think it works both ways. Instead of feeling victimised , think of how your actions has made this thing happen in the first place.
Members of other churches are not jeering during this situation. Neither are we praying for the authorities to find you non-guilty. We dun really care if you are guilty or not, caused it has affected all of us. Being in the limelight for huge amount of money, spent in questionable terms. That is enough for people to create many other questions in their minds about ALL churches.
How about "I am sorry" for a change instead of defending Ps Kong, CHC. The bigger picture is we are to fight for our faith in God. And i don't think the issue here is people being against your faith in God.
