Have you ever took a got up late and decided to take a cab to work? You see the traffic jam when you reach the expressway and you wished you took the MRT instead.
I was taking a hired transport. The driver said he was given info that there was a accident along Lornie road. Surprisingly, the traffic was smooth from Upper Thomson road all the way to Lornie road. However, there was a jam at Adam road. Somehow we got through the jam to discover that there was no roadworks, accident or breakdown of vehicle. So why was there a traffic jam?
When i used to live at Seng Kang, i experienced a traffic jam at TPE. When we passed the area of congestion…do my frustrations, it was just a car that was stalled at the side. All drivers that drove past were all simply busybodies that slowed down to take a better look.
In conclusion, jams are mostly caused by busybodies. Mostly accidents happen and traffic can still go on. But busybodies feel the need to see a little more, so monkey see, monkey do…everyone follows. so leads to a massive slow down
