To the little me

I am so happy you are in my life.
You seem so peaceful and secured inside the cocoon.
You have a way of taking care of yourself, even though mummy has been sick.

As long as there is life in me, i want to ensure that you get to come out into this world safely.
Many people are eager to meet you.
Your mummy and daddy.
Your grandparents.
Your grandaunties and many many more people who wants to be your godmothers.
Also uncle cat.

I hope for you to be a happy child.
That you would bring joy to all those around you, especially your parents.
I hope for you to be a good reflection of who your parents are.
That all who meet you will know that we have raised you well.

I don't seem to know much about motherhood.
But the sight of your forming tiny body, i cant help having the motherlyness oozing out of me.
